1: Centennial Pavilion

This hall is in the centre and its one of most beautiful buildings in Monrovia. The Architecture and painting are just outstanding. Posing here for a pictures the caretaker ask me to pay 10 dollars. Before walking out of the place, I ask him if the 10 dollars is to buy the whole hall. 10 $ just to take Picture ar krase. He said he didn’t know why Sierra Leoneans like to take Pictures at this building. Indeed, most of my friends that have been to Monrovia have taken picture there. Di place fine bo
2: The Temple of Justices.

While Centennial Pavilion is the finest building, the Court of justice is the grandest building i saw in Monrovia. Apart from it’s structure, what’s I love about it is the institution it’s self. The office of chief justice said to be the highest position in Liberia and his term of office is over 50 years. What’s a wonderful way to ensure the smooth operation of the Rule of Law, Democracy and Fundamental Human rights. But how can a person that is not directly elected by the people have the highest position of government ? Us wan na mi yon de pan hug moni, Wea mi dadi nrto buchter.
3: Tee’s mall.

Tee mall is a prestigious place to spend your afternoon. It’s was the first time my Liberian friends enter Tee’s mall,it’s newly
1constructed. Everything in the mall is in Dallors( USD). After visiting Tee’s mall, we were one of the biggest boys in Rock hill. It’s so bad that I have never been to any mall in Sierra Leone. Tee’s mall have a very beach view.
4: Capitol hill (The State Avenue)
There is no area know as state Avenue in Liberia but there is a particular street that has many important state institutions buildings. Buildings such as the House of Representatives, Excutive mansion, Ministry of foreign affairs and others. This street is called Capitol bye pass . As a Sierra Leonean I refer to call it state Avenue for better understanding. Liberia follow an American government pattern. They have two house of representatives: the house of senate and the house of representatives. Charles Taylor’s wife is the currency President of the house of Representatives and the Vice president of the Republic of Liberia. This was my biggest surprise, Charles Taylor’s wife !!!!. Being around this area will help you to understand the difference and similarities between Sierra Leone and Liberia government.
5: Biggest Old Hotel.

This is a very historical building. It’s is near the American Embassy and it’s in the centre of the city. Apart from this old building it’s also a perfect place to view Monrovia. It’s also have the statue of the first Liberia President, Josephe J. Robert. Liberia have over 11 past Presidents. That’s why they oldest African Republic and one of the two African countries that were never colonise.

Liberia is our closest neighbour (Sierra Leone). As this sister countries share lot of connections, wether it is Language, Culture, Geography or tradgies. The bond of this two countries has flourished over the years and the Economic Community of West African states (Ecowas) and the Main Rival Union has acted as a great ingredients to this relationship.
My 5 places do visit in Monrovia, Liberia is to help Sierra Leoneans and other foreigner to know top palaces to visit in Liberia, Monrovia and to share my with everyone.
